Goldie Hawn recalls meeting Elvis when he visited her on the 'Laugh-In' NBC set.

'I met Elvis when I was in Laugh-In ... He was on the set because we used to rehearse in the studio ant NBC ...' 'When I met him it was quite amazing. I can even remember what I was wearing: a red knit 70s jumpsuit ...'

'And in walks this guy, and he was soooo beautiful, that it just took my breath away, everybody's breath away. And he walked up to me, and he tussled my hair, and he said 'you look like a chicken that's just been hatched'.

'And I didn't know what to think, I thought it was a compliment .... But my god, 'I've never met a guy with so much charisma in my life'. 'He was the guy that .. 'kick-started my hormones ...' ...

'My dad was a classical musician, and we used to listen to Beethoven and Bach and Vivaldi, and I used to say, 'Daddy, I will never like rock music'. But Elvis Presley's Don't Be Cruel took me right into puberty'.

The DVD Contains recently discovered unreleased film of Elvis performing 6 songs, including Heartbreak Hotel and Don't Be Cruel, live in Tupelo Mississippi 1956. This is an excellent release no fan should be without it.

The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Highly recommended.
